Irish public-service broadcaster RTÉ posted a net deficit of €7.2m ($8.7m) for 2019, according to its recently released annual report.
The broadcaster’s deficit for the previous year stood at €13m. RTÉ’s operating costs, including the costs of special events, amounted to €337.8m, a decrease of €2m from 2018.
