German pay-television channel RTL Nitro has acquired rights for the middleweight world title fight between Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook on September 10 in London.
The deal was agreed with Klitschko Management Group, the event’s promoter.
The promoter and RTL Nitro’s parent company, commercial broadcaster RTL, have been partners on a number of events over the past decade.
The agreement marks the first move by RTL Nitro into boxing, with football having dominated its coverage previously.
