Digital-terrestrial television channel L'Équipe 21has acquired exclusive rights in France to Russian Premier League football.
The three-season deal for the top division of Russian football runs from 2015-16 to 2017-18.
Under the agreement, L'Équipe 21 will broadcast two games per week live, starting with the visit of reigning champions Zenit St. Petersburg to FC Ufa on August 9.
Basic-tier broadcaster Ma Chaîne Sport had held the league rights in France since 2012.
