The Saran Media agency has renewed media rights for Turkey national football team home friendly matches.
The deal with the Turkish Football Federation will run for four years, from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
Saran Media’s rights cover exclusive ‘first-party’ rights (domestic rights in Turkey) and exclusive ‘third-party’ rights (rights in all other territories excluding the opposition team’s home market). The federation retained ‘second-party’ rights (rights in an opposition team’s home market), which it offers to opposition federations when arranging friendlies.
Under the deal, Saran will also organise and market the national team’s tour of the US this year before the World Cup in Brazil.
Saran has marketed Turkey’s friendly matches since 2006.
