Turkish rights agency Saran Media has signed a deal for its two sports channels to be carried on state-owned cable platform Kablo TV.
The two channels, S Sport and S Sport 2, will now reach up to 6.6 million households across Turkey. They are already carried on a range of Turkey’s largest satellite platforms, including Digiturk, D-Smart, Tivibu and TV+.
As part of the agreement, Kablo TV will also now broadcast NBA TV, which Saran holds the Turkish distribution rights to, as a standalone channel, as well as Edgesport, the IMG-operated action sports channel.
Saran holds a range of major properties in Turkey which include the exclusive rights to the English Premier League, Uefa Europa League and Formula 1 motor racing.
