Saudi Arabia to stage first Formula E night race, Extreme E adds ESPN deal

The Formula E electric racing series has announced it will stage its first night race in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, as part of its 2020-21 season.

Scheduled for February 26-27, the Diriyah E-Prix double-header will run at 8pm local time. Formula E said lighting the track with the latest low-consumption LED technology will reduce energy consumption by up to 50 per cent compared to non-LED technologies.
