The Scottish Rugby governing body has announced it will provide live streaming on video-sharing website YouTube of four international games, beginning with tonight’s match between Scotland A and England Saxons.
The matches are being delivered through a new partnership between SRU, English counterpart the Rugby Football Union, banking group RBS and production company QuipuTV, which will film the games.
Also featured live on Scottish Rugby’s YouTube channel will be Scotland under-20 matches against England on February 7 and France on March 7, along with the women’s international between Scotland and England on February 9.
Scottish Rugby director of commercial operations, communications and public affairs Dominic McKay said: “We're always looking to innovatively engage with our supporters and this is a new way for us to broadcast our matches globally. Supporters of both teams will be able to watch these games live, free of charge and from anywhere in the world.”
