French telecommunications company SFR-Numericable will show live coverage of an English Premier League football match on free-to-air television next month.
The game between Chelsea and Liverpool on Friday, September 16 will be shown exclusively on SFR’s free-to-air channel, Numero 23.
SFR said that the coverage had been made possible following an agreement between Numero 23 and SFR Sport 1, the newly-launched sports channel, which has rights to the league.
The game will kick off at 9pm local time.
