Australian telecommunications company Optus has agreed a deal with wagering company Tabcorp to broadcast coverage of football’s English Premier League and the 2018 Fifa World Cup across Sky Racing venues in Australia.
The Tabcorp-owned network of 4,500 Sky Racing venues will be able to utilise the Optus Sport 1 channel to broadcast a wide range of matches from England’s top-tier club competition.
Sky Racing sites will also have the option to show a second live game when more than one match is taking place at the same time.
In addition to match coverage, Optus Sport 1 shows game previews and reviews, highlights and other programming dedicated to the Premier League.
The Sky Racing 1, 2 and Trackside channels will remain unchanged, with Optus Sport available as an addition in pubs, clubs add TAB agencies.
