Pay-television broadcaster Sky has acquired exclusive rights in the UK and Ireland to the upcoming fight between former world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr and mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor.
The fight will be shown via the pay-per-view Sky Sports Box Office service for £19.95 (€22.31/$26.36) in the UK and €24.95 in the Republic of Ireland.
The event will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in the US city of Las Vegas on August 26.
Sky Sports will broadcast a range of support programming across its television channels and digital platforms in the build-up to the event.
Meanwhile, Joe Hand Promotions, a television distributor of pay-per-view and closed-circuit events for commercial establishments, has been named as the exclusive distributor of the Mayweather-McGregor fight in the United States.
The event will be produced and distributed live by Showtime PPV and delivered to commercial establishments by Joe Hand Promotions.
