Indian media group Sony Pictures Networks has appointed Manish Aggarwal as its new head of growth, monetization and digital business at its OTT video on-demand service SonyLIV.
Media news website Media Samosa reported that Aggarwal will be responsible for “strategising the subscription business of India and international countries” for SonyLIV. The service offers access to Sony’s sports content, including the TEN Sports channels.
Aggarwal joins Sony from broadcaster and media group Zee Entertainment Enterprises, where he was principal cluster head, advertising sales.
