Pay-television broadcaster Sony Pictures Networks has secured exclusive rights across the Indian subcontinent to show the 2022 Asian Games, which is due to take place in Hangzhou, China, from September 10 to 25.
Sony will broadcast the 19th edition of the Asian Games on its linear channels as well as its OTT platform SonyLIV. The rights cover India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan and the Maldives.
