Sony Six lands rights to Mayweather-Berto

Indian pay-television channel Sony Six has agreed a deal for rights to Floyd Mayweather Jr’s fight against Andre Berto, which takes place in Las Vegas tomorrow (Saturday).

The broadcaster will show the boxing event live across its Sony Six and Sony Six HD channels following an agreement with pay-television channel Fight Sports.

CSI Sports-owned Fight Sports this week acquired rights to the fight in more than 35 countries, including India.

Pound-for-pound boxing superstar Mayweather will defend his WBC and WBA welterweight titles against Haiti’s Berto on Saturday, in what the undefeated American claims will be his final professional bout.
