The Scottish Professional Football League has become the first national football league to sign a partnership with Dugout, a new digital media platform that is supported by a number of elite European football clubs.
Dugout, which launched in November 2016, provides free-to-access behind-the-scenes videos and content, with viewers able to personalise their experience.
Under the partnership, content will be provided from the Premiership, Championship, League 1 and League 2, as well as the Betfred Cup and the IRN-Bru Cup, including footage of goals and archive content.
“We are in conversations with a number of other leagues about similar partnerships, and hope to make some more announcements very soon,” Dugout president Elliot Richardson said.
Last month, Dugout announced the Football Federation of Portugal as the first national football association to join the platform.
