Sportfive to continue selling French Open rights in Asia

The Sportfive International agency has extended a deal with the Fédération Française de Tennis, the French tennis federation, for the distribution of media rights in Asia to the French Open tennis tournament at Roland Garros in Paris.

The new deal will run for five years, from 2013 to 2017.

Sportfive has sold the rights in Asia since 2010.

“Our collaboration with Sportfive in Asia has been a great success – exposure, revenues and the popularity of the tournament in the region have all increased significantly since 2010 thanks to the professionalism of the sales teams on the ground,” the federation’s media and sponsorship director, Michel Grach, said.
