Pay-television broadcaster Star India has won the rights to show the Pro Kabaddi League for the next five seasons despite conflict of interest concerns from some of the competing teams.
The deal was made after Mashal Sports, the Star India-owned sports management company, conducted the auction in which no other bidders competed for the rights.
