Digital-terrestrial operator StarTimes has launched a new sports channel, StarTimes Sport 2, in South Africa.
The channel has launched on StarSat, the satellite-television platform operated by pay-television broadcaster On Digital Media.
The channel will show coverage of football, tennis, rugby union, golf, motor-racing and cricket from around the world.
China-based StarTimes recently acquired a 20-per-cent stake in On Digital Media.
