UK production company Sunset+Vine has extended its association with World Sailing after being appointed as the host broadcast and distribution partner for its 2018 World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark.
Under the agreement, Sunset+Vine’s Media Partnerships division will distribute all news, digital and broadcast coverage of the event, which runs from July 30 to August 12.
Eight days of live internet coverage will be provided of the qualification series, plus four days of live television action for each of the 10 medal races.
Sunset+Vine will also produce and internationally distribute four medal race-day highlights programmes.
Sunset+Vine had a similar agreement in place with World Sailing for the 2011 World Championships in Perth, Australia and the 2014 event in Santander, Spain.
In addition, Sunset+Vine produces the monthly grand prix sailing magazine series The World Sailing Show, the official television series of the sport’s global governing body. Sunset+Vine’s Media Partnerships division also distributes all news, digital and broadcast coverage of Sailing World Cup Series.
