Swazi TV picks up domestic football rights

Swazi TV, a public-service broadcaster in Swaziland, has secured a rights deal for the country’s Premier League football competition.

The deal with the Swaziland Television Authority covers all events operated by the league, including the top tier, the Cup and the Charity Cup tournaments.

The length of the deal was not disclosed.

According to the Swaziland Observer newspaper, the agreement is worth SZL2m (€134,000/$150,000).
