Swiss sports television channel SSF has ceased broadcasting amid financial difficulties, according to reports.
The Broadband TV News website said the development has come about after SSF’s operating company filed for insolvency. Florian Ingold, chief operating officer of SSF’s owner, the Marketing-Manufaktur agency, told Swiss news agency SDA yesterday (Monday): “We can give no information on this subject.”
SSF was founded in 2007 under the title Schweizer Sport Fernsehen and offered live coverage and news focusing on Swiss sports.
In 2013, it was rebranded as Sport Szene Fernsehen and opened up to broader entertainment programming.
