Swiss pay-television broadcaster Teleclub has acquired rights for events on the ATP World Tour, the leading global men’s professional tennis circuit.
The deal will run for three years, from 2014 to 2016, and covers all tournaments on the top-tier Masters 1,000 series and the second-tier 500 series.
Teleclub’s coverage will offer English-language commentary up to and including the quarter-finals of the tournaments, with French and German commentary on offer for the semi-finals and finals.
Teleclub will also broadcast highlights during the tournaments and the ATP Uncovered magazine programme.
The deal will be activated with the first ATP World Tour 500 series of the year, the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The tournament begins on Monday.
