Télévision Tunisienne lands rights for home African Handball Championship

Tunisian public-service broadcaster Télévision Tunisienne has acquired rights to the 2020 African men’s Handball Championship.

The Championship is being held in Tunisia from January 16-26 and Télévision Tunisienne will broadcast all of the host nation’s matches on its Watania 1 and Watania 2 channels, along with the semi-finals, final and other key games featuring Arab nations.

Tunisia is the reigning champion and is due to open its title defence against Cape Verde on January 16.

The 2020 African Handball Championship will act as a qualifying event for the 2020 summer Olympic Games and the 2021 World Handball Championship, which is being hosted by Egypt.
