Tunisian public-service broadcaster Télévision Tunisienne has agreed a rights deal with the Tunisian Football Federation for a package that includes domestic Ligue 1 games and national team friendly matches.
The agreement will run for three seasons, from 2013-14 to 2015-16.
The Babnet Tunisie website said that Télévision Tunisienne had acquired the rights to six Ligue 1 games per week along with the domestic cup knockout competition and friendly games featuring the Tunisia national team.
Under the terms of the deal, Télévision Tunisienne will be permitted to sub-licence Ligue 1 game rights to foreign-based broadcasters as long as such deals are approved by the federation.
