US pay-television broadcaster Tennis Channel has renewed its rights deal with the BNP Paribas Open tournament for the 2014 edition of the event in Indian Wells, California.
Tennis Channel will feature 97 hours of live action and 145 hours of additional coverage from the 2014 Open, which runs from March 3-16.
Live coverage on Tennis Channel will begin on Thursday, March 6 and wrap up with the men’s doubles final on Saturday, March 15. The Tennis Channel Live Pre-Game Show will air in the 30 minutes prior to play as part of coverage on March 6 through March 13.
US sports broadcaster ESPN will conclude coverage of the tournament when it airs the back-to-back women’s and men’s singles finals on its ESPN2 channel on March 16.
The tournament is the world’s largest two-week combined event featuring the men’s ATP World Tour and the women’s WTA.
