US pay-television broadcaster Tennis Channel has acquired rights for the new Champions Tennis League in India.
The length of the deal agreed with Second Serve, the company operating the tournament, was not disclosed, but Tennis Channel will show every match during the 2014 edition.
The inaugural edition of the league will take place from November 17 to 26 and will feature six city franchises across India. A total of 13 matches will take place, featuring the likes of David Ferrer (pictured) and Agnieszka Radwanska.
Former Indian tennis star Vijay Amritraj is the chairman and managing director of Second Serve.
