The Total Sports Asia agency has secured rights deals with several broadcasters in Asia for coverage of the Monsoon Cup, the final event of the 2012 World Match Racing Tour sailing series.
Singaporean pay-television operator Starhub, Filipino pay-television broadcaster Solar, Thai pay-television broadcaster TrueVisions, Indian pay-television broadcaster Neo Sports and pan-Asian sports broadcaster Eurosport Asia agreed deals with the agency, according to the Malaysian Times newspaper.
Total Sports Asia is distributing the rights for the cup across the Asia-Pacific region. The event is currently taking place in Malaysia and will conclude tomorrow.
The World Match Racing Tour also has a global rights distribution partner, the Boulder Creek International agency.
