The TV Media Sport agency has secured a package of rights for the Uefa Euro 2016 national team football tournament across a host of African territories.
TVMS has acquired free-to-air rights to a package of 12 games in the following markets: Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Togo, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The deal was agreed with CAA Eleven, Uefa’s exclusive marketing agency for the sale of certain media and commercial rights relating to its national team football competitions.
Euro 2016 will be hosted by France from June 10 to July 10.
