TV3 launches OTT platform in Baltic countries

Baltic media group TV3 has launched a new OTT platform offering more than 100 hours of live sport per week.

The Go3 platform will feature more than 40 live channels and, along with sport, will also offer movies and other entertainment content to customers in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Sports content available via Go3 will include club football competitions the Uefa Champions League, English Premier League, Spanish LaLiga and Italian Serie A. It will also stream EuroLeague and NBA basketball, as well as Russian-based ice hockey competition the Kontinental Hockey League and boxing events.

Go3 is available for smartphone and tablet devices with iOS and Android, online at Go3.lt/lv/tv, on smart televisions and any other devices with Android TV systems. Content can also be viewed on televisions via Chromecast.

The TV3 and TV6 channels in the Baltic countries were sold by Modern Times Group by Providence Equity Partners in 2017 and the All Media Baltics business was created to house the business.

Jan Wykrytowicz, pay-television chief executive of the TV3 Group, said: “The way people are watching content rapidly changes from linear to more fragmented viewing. Viewers want to decide what, when and on which device they watch.

“Go3 perfectly addresses these needs and marks the beginning of new phase of television in the Baltics. Never before has the most relevant local and fully localised international content been so easily accessible in a flexible offer and available on all sizes of screens from smartphone to smart TV.”
