Polish public-service broadcaster TVP has acquired rights to the 2015 and 2017 editions of the men’s and women’s Handball World Championships.
The men’s tournament will take place in Qatar in 2015 and France in 2017, while the women’s event will be staged in Denmark next year and then Germany in 2017.
Poland’s men’s team has qualified for Qatar 2015 and will open its campaign with a group game against Germany on January 16. TVP Sport and TVP2 will broadcast the match.
Poland’s women’s team has yet to secure its place at Denmark 2015. Their presence at the World Championship will be determined by their performance at the 2014 Women’s European Championships, which take place in Hungary and Croatia from December 7-21.
The Women’s Euros will also be broadcast by TVP Sport and TVP2.
