Russian pay-television broadcaster NTV Plus has confirmed a rights deal to show the Wimbledon tennis championships.
Daily broadcasts will be provided live on the NTV Plus Tennis and NTV Plus Sport HD channels. At least two matches per day will be shown live by NTV Plus Sport.
NTV Plus reached the agreement with tournament operator, the All England Lawn Tennis Club, and its adviser, the IMG Events & Media agency.
NTV Plus last showed Wimbledon in 2012 and reports of the new deal – terms of which were undisclosed – first emerged earlier this month.
The two-week grand slam began in London yesterday (Monday).
