UK pay-television broadcaster Sky’s two-year extension of its deal for rights to the European Tour and the Ryder Cup has seen the annual value slightly increase.

Golf’s European Tour has extended its rights deal in the UK and Ireland with pay-television broadcaster Sky, an agreement that covers both the Tour itself and the Ryder Cup.

European Tour Productions, the Tour’s host broadcast and media-rights sales arm in which the US-based PGA Tour recently agreed to acquire a minority stake, has reported turnover of £99.5m (€110.4m/$134.5m)
