IEC picks up baton after falling viewing limits EBU appetite

The IAAF had little alternative but to award a four-year contract for the European and African media rights for its top events to the IEC in Sports agency after the final offer from the EBU, its long-term partner and the only other realistic bidder, was some 35-per cent lower than what it pays now.
