German public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF have extended their agreements for rights to the Ski Classics series of long-distance skiing events.
The lengths of the renewals were not disclosed, although the deals will at least cover the 2016-17 campaign, which begins on November 27 in Pontresina, Switzerland.
ARD and ZDF will continue to provide news and highlights clips of the series. The broadcasters struck the deals with the Wsportsmedia agency, which distributes media rights for Ski Classics.
