Al Jazeera-owned pay-television broadcaster beIN Sport Asia has acquired the media rights to German Bundesliga football in Indonesia and the Philippines for the next two seasons.
The deal includes all Bundesliga matches across all media platforms and devices in Indonesia and the Philippines for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 editions of Germany’s top division.
BeINSport channels launched in the Indonesian market earlier this month and will begin broadcasting in the Philippines in August.
The Bundesliga will feature on football-specialised beIN Sport 1 HD and multi-sport channel beIN Sport 2 HD.
