Sports rights formerly held by Fox Sports Asia, which is shutting down next month, have attracted bids from several companies interested in taking over the Disney-owned pay-television platform's position in the market.

South Korean media company Eclat Entertainment, sports media group Aser Ventures, Singapore-based pay-television channel operator Rewind Networks and pay-television broadcaster beIN Sports are understood to have been among the bidders.
