The UK’s Racecourse Media Group has appointed Adam Binns as its new director of broadcast and production.
Binns, currently head of Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Media at digital sports media company Perform, brings 17 years of experience from the media and communications sectors to the role.
RMG is the umbrella organisation for the 33 racecourses which own an interest in television channels Racing UK and Turf TV, along with GBI Racing, which distributes the international betting rights for British and Irish horse racing. Binns starts his new role on January 1, 2014.
He said: “There is a great broadcast and production team in place at RMG, backed by excellent technical resources. I am very excited about realising their full potential, growing revenues and engaging a wider audience on more platforms than ever before.”
