US-based fans of English Premier League football will be offered unprecedented coverage of the final day of the season, with nine of the 10 scheduled games being broadcast live simultaneously across the Fox network’s cable-television channels and digital services.
Coverage of the nine games, on May 13, will be shown across Fox’s cable-television channel FX, Fox Sports Media Group cable-television channels Speed, FSN, Fuel TV, Fox Soccer, Fox Soccer Plus and Fox Deportes, and digital services FoxSoccer.com and Fox Soccer 2Go.
The 10th game, which is not being shown by Fox, will be broadcast by rival pay-television broadcaster ESPN, which has a sublicensing agreement with Fox.
The blanket coverage from Fox comes as it gets ready to renew its Premier League rights in the US for the 2013-14 to 2015-16 period. The rights are expected on the market later this year.
