The European Cross Country Championships, taking place this Sunday in Velenje, Slovenia, will have live coverage on European Broadcasting Union broadcasters in Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Spain and the host country, its organisers confirmed.
EBU broadcasters in Belgium, Finland, Hungary, Netherlands, Russia and Turkey will show delayed coverage of the event. The EBU has the rights under a deal with European Athletics, the organiser of the event.
European Athletics said there would be at least 26 hours of live television coverage broadcast across Europe on Sunday, a higher figure than last year when 22 hours of live coverage were aired in 12 countries. European Athletics will also stream live coverage of the championships via its website.
