C More secures long-term Swedish ice hockey deal

Swedish pay-television broadcaster C More has acquired rights for the Swedish Hockey League, the top division of ice hockey in the country.

The exclusive deal will run for six seasons, from 2018-19 to 2023-24.

Under the agreement, C More will show live coverage of all regular-season and play-off matches. C More will also cover production costs.

The contract is the longest in the history of the SHL. C More's current deal runs for four seasons, from 2014-15 to 2017-18.
