German sports broadcaster Sport1 and online platform Laola1.tv have sealed rights extensions for the Champions Hockey League, the pan-European ice hockey competition.
According to the Sponsors news service, the deals will cover the 2016-17 season.
Sport1 will have pay-television rights and Laola1.tv will have online rights.
The Sportsman Media Group, which brokered the deals, markets the CHL’s media rights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Both platforms showed coverage of the 2015-16 campaign.
