US pay-television broadcaster Comcast SportsNet has extended a media rights deal with the Philadelphia Phillies Major League Baseball franchise.
The league’s website said that the deal would run for 25 years, from 2016 to 2040.
Comcast SportsNet’s current agreement with the Phillies, worth about $35m (€25.6m) per year, was due to expire at the end of the 2015 season. Financial details of the new deal have not been disclosed.
