London-based digital media company Copa90 has agreed a content partnership with US broadcast technology company NextVR.
Copa90 and NextVR will collaborate on a wide range of football events, tournaments and content projects, including pre-season competition the International Champions Cup, to expand their portfolio of sports content.
To mark the start of the partnership, Copa90 yesterday (Wednesday) served as the presenting virtual reality sponsor of NextVR’s live broadcast of the ICC match between AC Milan and Manchester United, which the English Premier League team won 9-8 in a penalty shootout.
A dedicated Copa90 channel will launch later this month in the NextVR app. The first content will feature behind-the-scenes access with US football’s rising star, Christian Pulisic, as Copa90 collaborated with Pulisic (pictured), Major League Baseball team Chicago Cubs, and the 19-year-old’s club, Borussia Dortmund, prior to their ICC match against Manchester City at Soldier Field in Chicago.
