Cricket South Africa and pay-television broadcaster SuperSport have announced plans to jointly create a new franchise T20 competition in South Africa.
The new competition is expected to start in January next year with six privately-owned franchises playing each other twice in a league system, with the top three teams making it to the playoffs.
