Sports streaming service DAZN has acquired rights in Brazil to the Copa Libertadores Femenina club football competition.
The deal has been signed ahead of the start of next month’s tournament, which runs from October 11-27. DAZN agreed the deal with the South American Football Confederation (Conmebol), which organises the competition.
DAZN will broadcast games featuring Brazilian clubs Corinthians and Ferroviária, as well as other high-profile matches from the competition, which will feature 16 teams this year.

DAZN launched in Brazil in May with rights to a host of football properties, including the domestic Campeonato Brasileiro Série C and continental competition the Copa Sudamericana, as well as Italy’s Serie A, Serie B and Supercoppa Italiana; the English FA Cup; France’s Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and Coupe de France; Major League Soccer; Japan’s J-League and the Africa Cup of Nations.
