DAZN Media North America, the sales and advertising division of the subscription sports streaming service, has brought all media sales operations in-house in Canada.
DAZN Media said that the move is designed to offer brands a “one-stop-shop” to directly invest in and reach fans, while allowing it to create one-on-one relationships with brands and more closely align on specific marketing goals and objectives.
Brands will also be granted direct access to DAZN Media’s data-driven insights, enabling them to create a more personable process to help drive custom campaigns and scalable partnerships.
DAZN Media reappointed the Toronto-based Cue Digital agency just over 12 months ago to handle its Canadian advertising sales.
Michael Mobley, DAZN’s vice-president of media sales in North America, said: “With this in-house media shift, we look forward to being able to double down on our investment in media efforts in Canada.
“Over the past three years, we have solidified strategic partnerships across numerous categories and look forward to continuing to foster exceptional growth with existing and new partners alike to reach some of the greatest sports fans in the world.”
DAZN’s rights portfolio in Canada includes football’s Italian Serie A, English Premier League, Uefa Champions League and Europa League, as well as the NFL.
DAZN is priced at C$20 (€13/$15) per month in Canada or C$150 per year.
