DAZN, the OTT service operated by digital sports media company Perform, has secured carriage deals with a number of pay-television platforms in the country, including telcos Bell and Rogers.
DAZN Canada has also sealed deals with Shaw, SaskTel and other cable- and satellite-television providers for the distribution of the NFL Sunday Ticket service across the country.
Telus will also offer DAZN’s NFL coverage under a sublicensing agreement with Bell.
Access to DAZN has been priced at C$20 (€13/$15) per month or $150 per year, with the first month being free for new subscribers.
DAZN has NFL rights in Canada under a five-year deal covering the 2017-18 to 2021-22 seasons.
