The European Handball Federation, the governing body for the sport in Europe, has announced plans to stream a number of qualifying matches for the Men’s Euro 2014 competition live online.
The federation said that games from the first two rounds of qualifying would be shown live on its EHFTV.com website from October 31 and November 4.
If the coverage is well received, the project will be expanded to show more qualifying games next year, the federation said.
The Men’s European Championship is the federation’s flagship event and will take place in Denmark from January 12-26, 2014.
