The Handball Bundesliga (HBL), organising body of the top two divisions of the sport in Germany, has announced the launch of a new global OTT streaming platform to showcase its competitions to territories not currently covered by broadcast rights deals.

HBL TV goes live ahead of tomorrow’s season-opening Super Cup game, which this year sees reigning Bundesliga champion SC Magdeburg take on DHB-Pokal winner THW Kiel.
