Eliasch: FIS media rights centralisation is a question of when, not if

The centralisation of international broadcast rights to the FIS World Cup series is a question of “when, not if”, according to Johan Eliasch, the International Ski Federation (FIS) president, despite the fallout over existing rights ownership and ongoing doubts among leading national associations.

Speaking to SportBusiness in a wide-ranging interview ahead of the start of the 2022-23 Alpine Ski World Cup season this weekend, Eliasch doubled down on his insistence that the pathway is clear for FIS to centralise the rights.
