US sports broadcaster ESPN has acquired rights for the Uefa Euro 2020 national team football tournament, as well as all Uefa national team games between 2018 and 2022.
ESPN has acquired exclusive English-language rights in the US to Euro 2020, having shown the previous three editions of the tournament.
ESPN will show 51 matches during the competition on its main channel, ESPN 2 and ESPN 3, as well as via the broadcaster’s website.
The broadcaster will also show Uefa qualifying matches for Euro 2020 and the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
The package of rights includes two editions of the new Uefa Nations League, with the first edition running from September 2018 to June 2019.
